Carve out some time for Halloween magic in local Orange County, home to lots of wicked and eerie-sistible trick-or-treating attractions. All of these events occur on Oct. 31 and are free to attend.
Halloween Spooktacular Anaheim Hills Fall Spooktacular Festival
From 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., there is a spooktacular festival at Anaheim Hills with a DJ, face painting, balloon art, and more. Participating stores including but not limited to Crumbl Cookies, the Habit Burger Grill, and Nekter Juice Bar focus on unique cookie flavors, award-winning Charburgers, and acai bowls.
Calling all costumers! Downtown Brea is hosting a magical trick-or-treating experience with treats in the streets occurring between 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.. American Grub, Spaghettini, and Dvine Mediterranean will offer creative treats like angus beef burgers, Chilled Carrot Soups, and potato salads, giving the cozy and warm feeling of California streets.
Cops N’ Goblins Trick-Or-Treating
This annual event from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Halloween day invites guests to connect with the Buena Park Police Department. There will be candy, carnival games, and arts & crafts!Visitors are encouraged to dress up in costumes too.
On Oct. 31st from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Catalina Avenue in Riviera Village is howling their way into Halloween by closing off the street to set up for the festivities. Shops like Fringe, Ten Thousand Villages, and Cherry Co will be handing out sweet candy and treats that pumpkin-spice the holiday up!
Boo-lieve it or not, Belmont Shores will be hosting its long-standing tradition of handing out treats on the day of Halloween. From 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., kids can visit participating businesses that display a Jack-O-Lantern for delicious dishes like Rance’s thin-styled Chicago Pizza, authentic Rakkan Ramen, and classic fish tacos from Taco Shore.
October is the month for pumpkin shopping, but there’s no better way than to do it at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Culver City. Established in 1987, visiting this famous patch has been a seasonal tradition for many families. This one does have an admission fee, but with the Pumpkin village where you can pick pumpkins, Tipi Villages where kids can play and rest, and giant rocking horses, there’s no doubt that this tradition is something that you would want to come back to.
Celebrating Halloween was always more than just trick-or-treating.
