Athena Xing, Staff Writer

Returning for her second year at The Gamut, Athena is excited to write for the upcoming issues, especially for the Op-Ed and News section, and to work at Gamslam, Gamut’s annual slam poetry competition. She loves to write for both the Gamut and in her free time by writing in her daily diary, which she’s been writing in since third grade. When she’s not writing in her thousands of journals, you can find her serving for her community as the science club’s secretary where she enjoys sharing her interest in science with her peers or playing golf on OA’s varsity team. She also has three adorable turtles all named after seasons: Winter, Summer, and Spring. To complete the group, she plans to get another turtle in the future and name them Autumn. She can’t live without them plus delicious tiramisu cake as she is a big foodie.
