Nathan Liu, Staff Writer

Excited to start his writing journey on Gamut, Nathan Liu is looking forward to improving his writing skills as a first year staff member. Interested in writing ever since 4th grade, he specifically finds poetry fascinating due to its hidden yet powerful messages. When he’s not writing, Nathan finds enjoyment in gardening, from cherry tomatoes to dragon fruits he grows a variety of foods all from his backyard! Finding the hobby peaceful, he would also use that word to describe his personality, along with being shy and persevering. With his 9 iron golf club intact he is able to swing his determination towards any goal, landing him a gold medal in the intermediate British biology Olympiad and qualifying national for HOSA, while also finding balance to be a part of FBLA and Youth Engineers in Action. With his mindset of  “swimming through the waves” Nathan is ready to work hard and succeed this school year!
