Meet senior Amy Bao as she continues her Gamut career as a Staff Artist derived from her passion for drawing 3 winged butterflies as a kid. She also plays for Oxford’s very own Girls Varsity Volleyball team, which she pours her heart into. Whether it’d be through the Gamut or the volleyball court, Amy’s enthusiasm is an example to us all. Her passions don’t end there though, she shares an immense interest in films, which she avidly tracks though her Letterbox account. Some of her favorite movies include Black Panther, Big Hero 6, and Interstellar representing her love for science fiction. As of now, she is currently diving into the story of Star Wars, taking a particular interest in the characters like Obi Wan Kenobi. Adding on to her list of interests, Amy is a big gamer, exploring a wide variety of genres from the tragic story of The Last of Us, all the way to the exciting gameplay of 2k25. If you’re looking to chat about art, volleyball, video games, or movies, Amy’s your girl.
