Celine Park, Opinion Editor

Armed with her trademark gold hoops and Sanrio stickers, junior Celine Park is hitting the ground running as The Gamut’s Opinion Editor! At the suggestion of Ms. Galván, she dropped the flute after eighth grade and dove into journalism. She’s been a dedicated contributor to the paper ever since, emphasizing justice, fairness, and empathy in her many editorials. This passion extends to her other extracurriculars — she’s president of Korean Culture Awareness and part of Oxford’s year-old mock trial team, RSVP, and FBLA, and lists on her ceiling help her go through her goals in those organizations before bed every night. When she’s not on the grind, Celine likes taking photos of her friends, watching early 2000s romcoms, and making Yogurtland her second home. With a perfect playlist for every situation, she’ll definitely keep this year upbeat for her fellow Gamuteers!
