Eva Kim, Staff Artist

As a rising junior and super creative illustrator, Eva Kim has a deep love for art and journalism. She joined Gamut because of the unique, welcoming community that she feels can’t be experienced anywhere else, and she enjoys the fun bonding events that bring everyone closer together, such as John Incredible’s Pizza. Drawing is her favorite pastime! When she’s not sketching, Eva enjoys listening to indie-pop and jazz music, especially artists like Laufey and ABBA, which help her focus and study. Over the summer, Eva had so much fun participating in the UCLA Game Lab Summer Session. In her free time, she likes to go to Laufey’s new concert, play with her dog Jadoo, and watch the Business Proposal. Eva dreams of one day illustrating a children’s storybook. She is an INFP, illustrating her vibrant personality! In fact, she has a cute dog named Jadoo, and she loves mushrooms. Three adjectives to describe her include being hungry, creative, and curious. Her piece of advice for students brings motivation and inspiration: “Don’t procrastinate.”
