The Gamut

Haley Nguyen

Haley Nguyen, Editor in Chief

Haley Nguyen, a senior and this year’s Editor-in-Chief of Gamut, has a penchant for unique hobbies and a laidback approach to life. Her journey started with rocky kindergarten days, where her scissor-cutting skills weren’t up to par, but she’s since found her stride, becoming a master of Candy Crush and rhythm games like Project Sekai. Her rhythm game obsession and passion for gacha games have led to some risky spending sprees involving absurd amounts of money spent using iTunes gift cards, but she’s now trying to curb her shopping habits. A Pokémon Go enthusiast, Haley loves going to the parks on Community Days with her favorite Pokémon being Goomy despite her hatred of actual slugs. Corn is her ultimate comfort food, whether in the form of flavored milk, desserts, or just eating straight from a can. As Haley dives into her final year of high school and Gamut, reflecting on how far she’s come since freshman year, she is determined to soak up every moment of fun with friends, conquer senioritis, and tackle college applications with fingers crossed. Whether perfecting her cat-like meow, learning to sew, or coping with her newfound lactose intolerance, Haley is navigating life with her trademark humor and smile!
