Mikaela Woo, Sports Editor

Mikaela, our junior staff writer who joined the Gamut as a freshman from a little nudge by her role model, Mrs.Galvan, is not just thriving in the newspaper, she’s living her dream of being Paris Geller from Gilmore Girls and absolutely slaying it as our Sports editor. With her signature slick backs on Wednesdays, to having a billion different Pinterest boards, Mikaela is full of surprises. Whether she’s dominating it on the girl’s softball team, or perfecting her pink lip gloss and blush, she is always on point. Not only that, but Mikaela has phenomenal music taste. She’s living out her own “Teenage Dream” (by Katy Perry), with her Spotify filled with playlists of thought daughter vibes such as “i love you, i’m sorry” by Gracie Abrams, and duh, her favorite country singer, Meghan Moroney. Furthermore, although her love for cute, girly things such as tulips and bunnies, are endless, she also has a pet peeve- dry texters. So the next time you see her, don’t be afraid to chat it up (as long as you’re not a bad texter)!
