The Gamut

The Gamut

Gia Nguyen, Layout Editor

As The Gamut’s layout editor, junior Gia Nguyen first discovered his passion for layout during a journalism competition, where he quickly found that it was a therapeutic way for him to express himself.  When he was a freshman, Gia joined The Gamut to display his creativity and liked the freedom interpreting stories gave him. Along with The Gamut, Gia’s favorite class is entrepreneurship — he may be a finance bro in the future, but he’s not sure yet. Outside of school, Gia enjoys drawing, cooking, baking, and feeding into his boba obsession. He gets boba at least once a week and has even attempted to make it at home. He describes his spirit animal as the Miniso penguin, and he likes listening to the Across the Spiderverse and Dune soundtracks in his free time. This year, Gia is looking forward to experimenting with layouts, making The Gamut look more modern, and seeing if his classes will “break him” (we know they won’t!).
