The proud advisor of Gamut, Dr. Hind expresses the beauty of the world through stories and photography. From early writings on her grandma’s typewriter to conducting social science research to working as a journalist at C-SPAN, Dr. Hind pursued her love of writing on an adventurous journey that ultimately led her to become an inspiring teacher. Although her storytelling highlights the lives of others, look through her lens to find her adventures through magnificent national parks, hardcore punk shows, and elegant Renaissance faires. In her classroom is a pink unicorn plushie, gifted by last year's Gamut staff to represent the beloved Gamut mascot. Dr. Hind considers her students to be like unicorns — magical and amazing! Whether to ask for advice or explore the creative art works in her room, Dr. Hind has an open-door policy, so stop by for a visit!
