Freshman photographer Chris Javier enters his first year as a part of The Gamut with a bright and outgoing attitude, eager to address issues within the community with his writing and photo journalism. Chris’ passion for photography began back when he was in 6th grade, where the support of his family and church community has propelled his career towards becoming a part of The Gamut. Outside of the classroom, he’s aiding his cousins with their homework, playing games like Phasmaphobia with his dad and his friends, or helping out his parents with household chores. Taking after his mother, he enjoys listening to jazz and alternative rock music, including Green Day, Blink 182, and Weezer. This year, he looks forward to exploring new opportunities and connecting with more people, such as participating with Filipino Club in the International Show. In the future, he wishes to pursue a career in politics and work in the city of Anaheim, working his way to becoming governor (potentially even president?).
